this is one of our go-to meals when we're short on prep time but want an impressive spread.  just chop up the bok choy, cabbage, and mushrooms; season; and throw on a baking sheet.  after 12 minutes of baking, you're all set!

mashed potatoes

whipping up a big batch of light and fluffy mashed potatoes is ALWAYS a good idea.  i can eat mashed potatoes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  i can have mashed potatoes as a side dish or main dish.  the bigger the batch, the better!  this recipe is a sure bet, every time.

peach cobbler

it's about time i uploaded this recipe! i used my great-grandmother's delicious peach cobbler recipe.  you do a little measuring and a little mixing, pop it in the oven, and bam! you're serving peach cobbler to your friends and family before you know it!

i love peanut butter (i can eat it by the spoonful).  i also love cookies.  so i decided it was time to make a batch of these lovely peanut butter cookies!

banoffee pie

4/5/2012

i don't like a lot of banana flavored foods.  i like bananas on their own but i'm always skeptical of recipes involving bananas.  that's why i was hesitant to even take a bite of banoffee pie.  but once i did, i was hooked and i had to go back for seconds.  if you don't like bananas in recipes too, this will be the pie that converts you.

honey. glazed. carrots.  such a great way to make eating carrots more glamorous.  i might start glazing everything with honey from now on!
